March 2019: 500 ml bottle, 2018, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Bottom fermented. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of dark dried fruits, caramel and mild spices. Fizzy and slightly citric mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread with syrup, mild spices and dark dried fruits. Hints of burnt toast and roasted nuts. Minimal hops.
