Fresh growler from the brewery poured into a bulbed pint glass. Liquid comes out a nice darkish golden yellow color. Nice clarity, only the slightest of slightest of haze. Tan to gray colored head with mostly small bubbles. I've had this beer a few times already and hard pour or soft pour this beer provides some really nice lacing. Almost looks like a map going around the glass.

Really nice smelling beer. There is some good balance here, but like any solid American IPA (in my humble opinion of course) this is pretty hop forward in the nose. Lots of citrus, lemon grass, slightly herbal, and plenty of tropical fruit aromas. There's a present malt backbone here, slightly bready, like hearty crusty homemade bread or biscuits. Good smelling IPA.

Taste is exactly on par with the smell. The hops provide citrus flavors of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, blood orange and a bit of citrus peel. Some herbal and grassy flavors like lemon grass come out as well and some nice subtle hints of pine. Nice buiscuty/orange sweet baked bread flavors as well. Bits of natural sugar flavors. Excellent tasting IPA.

Mouthfeel is good, probably the best part of the beer. Medium body with a nice moderate carbonation level to it. Starts appropriately bitter while maintaining a clean feel the whole way through to a nice dry bitter finish. Great drinkability. It's very well balanced It's hoppy and has a nice malt backbone without being too overwhelming on either. Easy drinking beer regardless of style. It's a nice anytime beer; I'd personally prefer it any time of the year especially spring to fall. Great beer from OCB, I hope this continues to be a year round beer. Nice work!

Served in a pint glass at the Union Brewhouse in Weymouth.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a puffy layer. It is a hazy orange color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Super frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank too.

Smell: Citrus, grassy, herbal, toasted, bready, and pale malts.

Taste: Same as above. A bit more biscuity and toasted I would like, but still enjoyable. Slight bitterness in the rear too.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, chewy, medium bodied, medium carbonation, slight bitterness, and refreshing.

Overall: Another good local IPA. Was expecting more hop flavor based on the aroma, but still would revisit this again. Lots of potential with their beers.

New at the brewery today, from a growler. Nice smell and taste, decent finish. Another good offering from this brewery.
