Pours out a .clear dark amber with a minimal head. Malty aroma with a hint of Belgian yeast. Taste is more malt, some molasses and brown sugar and maple, minor Belgian notes. A decent amber ale, no matter what they were trying to do.

Not sure I would have picked this out as a Belgian Amber, the dry toast and light caramel are the big players, perhaps some apple/pear fruitiness, but nothing in the way of Belgian spiciness... Still not bad at all.
