Clear amber with a modest foamy cap. Light body but pleasantly sudsy. Just a little sharp. Pine scent and a pleasant restrained grainy taste. Bitterness is a little excessive but it's bright and highly drinkable.
A suggestion of malty sweetness. More of a honey note. Overall, this is better than a lot of "session IPAs" and at 4.2% it's getting close to the magic number. Flavorful and deeply resiny. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.

A: Moderate citrusy-piney hops with a light malt presence.
A: Golden color, clear with a slight haze. The beer has a thin head that has solid retention. There is massive lacing in the glass.
T: Moderate citrusy/piney hops with a light malt sweetness. The beer is crisp with moderate lingering hop bitterness, the beer finishes semi-dry.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: The beer is sessionable and clean. The beer exhibits solid, but not overly complex ho[ aroma and flavor. The galena and citra, overpower the mosaic hops berry-like character.
