22oz bottle served in pint glass. "Cryo Hop IPA" seems a bit much as a style designation, and the fact that they propose to pair a 7.2% IPA with baseball and Seattle dogs is more than a little audacious. The aroma is pretty uninspiring, and the color is a coppery, which is nice, but on the side of red ale rather than IPA. The flavor is sharp and hoppy, and a little bit piny, but not fruity, tropical, or citrus to my palate. Highly drinkable but not special.

Clear orange-amber brew with plenty of foam in the tall Blanche de Chambly glass. Smells of over-ripe pineapple with a whif of the compost bin. Pike calls this a "Cryo Hop IPA" brewed with "cryo Loral and leaf Cascade." It doesn't taste so sweet at first sip, but after half of the bottle it seems quite sugary. Taste is strongly orange
Overall this is a little woody and dank, with a weird perfumey aroma. I'd hate to complain about too much aromatics, but this seems to intensify the fruity and sweet. Some bitterness in the aftertaste with a gunky finish. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen Market.
