On tap at the brewery in Pike Place Market, Seattle.
It's a straightforward, old-school porter. Dark, thick pour. Pleasantly bitter aroma of roasted barley and UK hops. The flavor is similarly straightforward: nicely rough porter barley, spicy hops, bitterness mixed with tanginess throughout and a dry, lingering finish.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque black in the glass with a half finger dark khaki head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, graham crackers, cocoa and slight vanilla. Flavor is dark toasted malt, light cocoa, hints of coffee and caramel, a bit too mellow. Nice lingering cocoa and and lightly charred malt finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A satisfactory, but not too exciting porter. Starts a little thin, but has a good finish. Wish it was a bit more exciting; this is a good cause, contributing to improving salmon runs.
