355 ml served cold into a pint glass. In honor of an Anniversary for Holland America. Thanks to the in-laws for this one.
Appearance - Hazy, rich gold brew with a couple fingers of white head. Plenty of visible carbonation.
Smell - Bready aroma with some grassy aspects. A touch sharper on the nose than many in this class.
Taste - Medium bitterness, lots of grassy hops with some bready and crackery flavor making it up. Finishes fairly bitter.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied with medium carbonation. Well put together and easy to drink. The slightly higher ABV is imperceptible.
Overall - Pretty solid pils, with a robust aroma and good flavor. Clean pilsner and easy to drink. Would recommend if ever available beyond the ship.
