Clear pale amber brew with plenty of foam in the hand-blown tumbler. Lovely aroma of fruit with lemon. Lush and sudsy on the tongue. This has a very interesting and complex malty variety of flavors. Some distinct sweetness and flavors of cereal, wheat chex, and sweet potato. Some hoppy notes with lime peel, pineapple, and even a hint of Hawaiian Punch. The sweetness is more than usual in an IPA but it's not too much. Quite modest bitterness, but it's there in the aftertaste. Overall this is one of the most interesting IPAs I've had in a long time. Also it's extremely drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.
