22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
Pours dark brown but looks near black and opaque in the glass. The small head soon reduces to a durable ring, leaving just a few spots of lacing.
Aroma: a mix of pleasant dark roasted grains and mildly unpleasant but very faint note of something akin to balsamic vinegar.
Flavor: better than the aroma. Very good and near equal bitter-sweet balance but lacks complexity.
Feel: Medium-light carbonation; medium-light body.
O: improves with warming.

Poured a deep nearly-black shade of brown. A fizzy medium tan head settles down to a thin disc that provide nice small lacing. The aroma is almost non-existent. The flavor has a nice deep roasted malt flavor with a hint of chocolate on the finish. There's a little bit of fizziness on the palate but the body isn't too heavy. All-in-all a good-to-very good porter.

Picked up a bomber from Total Wine a week and a half ago for $3.99.
Beer poured dark brown with a nice tan head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose has hints of roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate.
Taste is roasted coffee beans, light chocolate with a decent amount of hops to keep it perfectly balanced.
Mouthfeel is a bit thinner than hoped and not overly smooth.
Overall a very tasty brew.

Poured from a bomber into a shaker pint, the beer pours a very dark, blackish brown coloring with a splash of light, filmy, tan colored surface head. Aromas of bitter coffee, hints of chocolate and toffee, and some earthy notes, all on a roasted backbone. Flavors are heavily roasted forward, with an extremely strong coffee backbone. Bitter and bitter, with bittersweet chocolate highlights throughout. Smooth bodied, slightly dry, with a bitter coffee aftertaste. The finish is dry, with a subtle bitter linger. This is for the coffee drinkers of the world, and that completely fits being from Seattle. Solid flavor profiles and easy to drink.
