this beer is amazing, my first from these guys, i think they are calling it angry neighbor now, or its a fruitted version of the normal extra pale they make, either way, oh my is it good! i always thought the 4.0 gpa from bull and bush was my favorite beer with grapefruit, but it has now been usurped by this beauty, what a gem. never even heard of these guys before this one either. its a slightly hazy more or less orange colored brew, with about an inch of head, pure white and lacy. it smells insane, like a fresh sliced open grapefruit, best of tangy and bitter and acidic, stunning how true it is to the fruit and how fresh it is. the flavor is the same, juicy and fresh to the max, like more authentic grapefruit than grapefruit juice from the store, its like the real thing. the hops are there too, but definitely a pale not an ipa, but the varietals used are very grapefruity too, its almost like the line between fruit and hops is blurred to the point of not being distinguishable, where one starts and the other ends is really tough to say, both are juicy and ripe and bitter. this is just amazing, refreshing and dramatic in terms of flavor. carbonated well and very dry for how intense the fruit is. this beer is on the edge of perfect, really one of the best beers in this style i have ever had. if word gets about about this, is going to blow up. i absolutely loved it, and now am super keen to get my hands on more of their beer. special beer, this will get some attention if they keep making it, im sure of it.
