From a 16 oz can dated 07/01/2020. This is the third beer from Mean Max I have tried in the last week and, surprisingly, they all look exactly the same: an apple-cider amber color with not a whole lot of haze. This one has a touch of sweetness on the nose and palate, and no heat from the 8.2% abv. A pleasant DIPA.

-deeply cloudy, dark amber can pour with a 3cm+ foam head and an earthy hop aroma. I’m drinking this 20 days after the canning date so this is a fresh brew. The flavor is pine-rich with moderate “back-of-the-tongue” bitterness. This is flavorful, but a bit muddled ( and I’ve climbed over the namesake peak as part of a 19 mile day).

This one pours a copper color with a very thin, white head. The smell is somewhat earthy. Taste is very earthy, with citrus hints. No overpowering hop presence, despite a high IBU.
