Poured a black body with tan head. Banana and cloves, along w/ some yeast, come through in the aroma. Smooth, light-bodied, some nutty maltiness and yeast keeps beer smooth along w/ hints of bubblegum/banana sweetness and great balance.

Mild nose with slight coffee and dark chocolate notes. Little to no hop on the start. Taste of chocolate malt with touch of sweetness. Earthy and malty. Little to no hop character in this beer. Excellent. Came back the second night for another one.

This doppelbock is a really nice compliment to the selection of beers from this brewery. A very smooth beer with some roasted malt tones, clean from start to finish with a little caramel tones to it. Barely can tell, but if pay close attention you can taste it. Definitely a repeat beer.
