Very dark chocolate with only a ring of light brown head. Nose isn't super clear in any direction other than dark chocolate. Thick RIS mouth feel and dark chocolate flavor. Not as much depth as other ris is appreciate.

Pours black with tan head. Smell is sweet rum, booze and wood notes. Tastes of rum sweetness, chocolate, hints of molasses and vanilla. Lightly carbonated and a bit thin but good overall

tan head. Black in color.
Very odd barrel aged beer. The rum shows with spice. But it has some odd flavors to it. Chocolate. Cherry flavors. Oak.
Medium bodied. Ends with some sweetness.

Poured on draft into a tulip.
A: Pours completely opaque with a light tan head that looks almost nitro, maintains well and laces beautifully.
S: BOOZE! Oh yeah, plus coffee, roast and cocoa. I big, intimidating beer in the nose.
T: Dark chcolate, roast and hops (yep) battle it out up front, with the dark chocolate and coffee settling on the palate. There are rum notes in there in a complimentary fashion. Very nice.
M: Extremely smooth and creamy, lacks the big, straightforward alcohol swipe you normally get with an RIS, but it's there, hidden in the undulation on flavors.
O: A rich and creamy stout that displays its barrel aging in eloquent ways. Each flavor takes a turn, the alcohol doesn't shout but you'd better believe it's there. A good looking beer that's a pleasure to drink. Cheers!
