MIA Encanto De Amor
12oz Pour into a tulip
On draft at The Pour House Channelside
Consumed (and review written) in Oct 2017
A: Opaque watermelon color with the slightest white head that dissipates quickly leaving very little lacing. 4
S: Aroma is huge berry, particularly raspberry. There is a subtle lactic tartness. That's about it, it's not particularly complex but it's very pleasant. 4.25
T: Taste is just a huge tart sourness. Balanced nicely by big berry notes, predominately raspberry and some cherry. Subtle oaky notes on the finish. Honestly one of the most sour beers I've ever had, and I've had a lot of sour beers. Killer. 4.75
M/D: Mouthfeel is medium bodied but vibrant due to the huge carbonation. Drinkability is very good. 4.5
O: I know essentially nothing about MIA (except that they make some crappy "hard waters"), but this beer is fantastic. Wow. 4.5
