Poured a light orange color with an aroma that was mostly bitter and earthy. Smooth, grapefruit sweetness, balanced with earthy/citric tones and while not an amazing beer it's solid and sessionable despite high ABV.

At the brewery.
Hazy amber orange color with a thick head.
Intense tropical aroma with notes of passion fruit, guava, mango, lychees and pineapple
Flavor with predominant notes of pine, resin and grapefruit. Hints of pineapple, toasted malts, ginger, white pepper, guava and mango. Quite dry aftertaste with a persistent bitterness.
Medium towards full body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 8% is well hidden.
Very good bold DIPA. This felt like a beef up twin of their other IPA line brews. Great mix of resiny, piney and tropical fruity flavors, in that order of intensity, with the last showing up nicely in the nose. Worth trying.
