Pint can fresh from the MIA Beer Company’s cooler. Ice cold. Pours a bit flat. Looks nicely oily right from the get-go.
Big hops aroma (Simcoe & Mosaic). Bam.
Taste reminds me of a lower ABV version of DFH 120 Minute. A lot. The hoppy bite, dry bitterness and high ABV are balanced with sweet roasty malt. Oily yet approachable. Puckery finish. Dangerously crushable if you’re not careful.
Feel is a bit heavy, but ample carbonation smooths it out.
Overall, this 2023 brewery-only exclusive is worthy. Damn good., brought a 4 pack home, slipped 1 in the cave for a few months.,.
