Mole Imperial Red Ale
L: Pours a muddy brown black color with a very small white head and no lacing on the glass, this is not the prettiest looking beer ever.
S: Whiskey permeates the aroma, hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The peppers are very prominent in the aroma and probably the most noticeable part of the aroma. I don't get much chocolate which is disappointing since this is supposed to be based on Mole Sauce.
T: Strong peppers are forefront, with a decent amount of spice and heat, followed by notes of whiskey and some cinnamon, still not getting a lot of chocolate.
F: Slick carbonation, medium body.
O: This beer disappoints a bit, the peppers are a bit too strong and not enough chocolate for a beer inspired by mole.
