On tap at the brewery, poured into a pub glass.
Appearance - very dark with little to no light coming through. Thin, beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Smell - rye bread, coffee beans, roasted malts.
Taste - follows the nose with hints of some caramel perhaps and a touch of dark stone fruit.
Feel - medium to heavy body, creamy and bold.
Overall - typical stout really; enjoyed it very much, it just doesn't set itself apart from others of its kind.
