L: Pours a pitch black with a very small fizzy tan head and no lacing on the glass. The head is not quite what I expect from a stout, however, it was from a crowler that sat in the fridge for about a week so that might be part of it.
S: Fruity coffee, some dark stone fruits, chocolate, and a note of smoked peat. Slight aroma of black olive, but very slight.
T: Bitter coffee, some fruit from the coffee, chocolate and a nice earthy note of peat. I really like what the taste of peat adds to this beer.
F: Low carbonation and nice body oily and thick.
O: This beer was a very nice surprise, love when stouts have notes of smoked peat in them and this definitely delivered it.
