Poured into a BrewDog snifter.
A: The body is brown and opaque, having a beige and very cool head. Retention is medium and lacing is minor but appearance-wise, this looks very good.
S: The aroma is very prominent of toffee and lightly roasted malts, creating the unique aroma of a sweetened barleywine. I love it.
T: Taste starts off with a toffee like flavour that uses some of the roasted malts' touch to finnish with a lightly bitter but mostly sweet profile. It's a very drinkable barleywine as it's one of the most sweet and enjoyable barleywines I've ever drank.
M: Body is medium to high. Carbonation is perfect. Alcohol is noticeable but not huge. Bitterness is very minimal and sweetness is mild without being overwhelming.
O: Very, very good barleywine from Letra. One of the best I've ever drank, close to Maldita's barleywines.
