500ml bottle, mindestens haltbar bis: 04.01.12. It seems to be a spring Märzen beer.
The pours is a deep, clear lightbrownish/gold. The head is off-white and leaves some ok lacing as it recedes.
The smell is pleasant, if simple. It is mostly bready with a kick of herbal, earthy hops.
The flavor is also very earthy. There is a hint of metallic flavor and nuts. It has a bit of herbal hoppiness to finish it off.
This is an interesting Märzen if there ever was one. It doesn’t seem off, but intriguingly different.
