Bomber poured into a stemmed glass. Two servings.
Appearance: Black with a big tan, or off white, head.
Aroma: Hops, dark malts, some pine notes. Effervescent kick.
Taste: Prickly pine and bitter hops. Some pretty tasty caramel notes. Malts. Dark chocolate. Finishes bitter, with a kick of hops and black coffee.
Mouthfeel: Drinkable despite hops and booze. Worth taking somewhat slowly because of same.
Overall: Walks the stout/IPA like pretty well.

Growler from brewery.
Look: Black, with a thick brownish head. Good lacing at first on the glass, but not persistent.
Smell: Citrus fruit hop notes, some caramel and yeastiness.
Taste: Burnt caramel at first, some fruitiness but overwhelmed by a too bitter finish.
Feel: A little too effervescent.
Overall: Too bitter in the finish.
