16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Looks good in the glass, a hazy burnt orange amber body with a small off white head. Leaves scattered lacing.
Not much on the nose, good or bad.
On tasting, it's likely the hops have faded a bit, but it's still quite bitter with a dryness and a little spice. Malt sweetness wafts in and out.
Mouth between medium and full, finish a dry light bitterness.
Overall, likely a bit past prime, but not an unpleasant drink.

Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy, vibrant amber orange color with a white head. SRM of 12. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aroams of dank melon, berry, guava. Some pine, grapefruit, and apricot are supporting. (4.00)
Flavor: Much more dank and herbal on the tongue. Dank herbal grapefruit and apricot on the tongue. Resiny, but not heavy. Some black tea for sure. Finishes with a bitter tangerine resinous astringency on the tongue. Impressively bitter and resinous. Not much malts behind the bitterness. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Medium-carbonation. Alcohol is hidden. Leaves a strong resinous bitterness on the palate. (4.00)
Overall: This beer surprised me. Impressive bitterness to nearly knock me off my feet. Wicked bitterness that is preceeded by a melon, berry, apricot, and grapefruit flavor. Delicious and bitter. They teased me calling this a midwestern IPA. I'd say this is west-coast level of bitter. (Final Rating: 4.15)

L: pours bright to brilliant copper amber under a 2" ivory foam collar with good retention and a very fine bead.
S: bread crumb, pie crust, spice, resin, stone fruit, and fruit and it has some earthy dankness in the background.
T: Fruit, citrus, apricot, bread crumb and mild sweetness start the flavors. A medium to medium high bitterness arrives in the middle and carries through to the finish to join a touch of astringency. The beer dries out in the finish.
F: 90K has an exceptionally creamy texture, a medium body and carbonation.
O: This is a beer that you drink both for its bold flavors and its rich texture.

A-Looks nice..burnt orange color...nice clarity..real nice clarity for an IPA. Looks like a vienna lager in the glass.
S-Malt....toffee...leather....some oily hop resin comes late and reminds of ganja.
T-A decent amount of toffee and english style malts and a good dose of the bong resin, ganja notes....grungy a little...tobacco.....certainly not bright and citrusy. Still, tasty though.
F-Maybe a little light in the body but splitting hairs...carbonation may be a bit light too but again splitting hairs..
O-Nice IPA that reminds me more of the IPA's of about ten years ago. Decent comparison would be Tyranena Bitter Woman back in the day (haven't had that in years though so who knows if it still does). Solid IPA.

Poured out a golden orange color with a small head of off-white foam. It smelled sweet and malty. The flavor was a little too sweet and malty. There wasn't enough bitterness for an IPA.

Had this on-tap in Excelsior
Slight haze, amber, big head, lace. The smell is light to the point of non-existence... just some onion hop and a slight malt backing. The taste is better, it's like an old-school IPA where the malt and hop bills are balanced and play off each other (rather than just being a hop-bomb). Slightly syrupy with the right amount of carbonation... a tad bit of grit
Lots of malt and bittering dank hops. It drinks even bigger than the advertised 7%. I wasn't expecting much, but this was very pleasant. Maybe a malt bomb, but a good'n
