Dense, opaque, deep and beautiful. Slim cocoa-tinged head. Looking nice.
In the nose: Big roast, large malt, much chocolate. Hints of dark rum, anise, molasses.
In the mouth: Smooth, silky, malty, clean. Dark ale you can drink all night. Lightly sweet, slightly toasty, just about delicious. Good drinking. Creamy smooth, dark and down able. Nice.

Got it in a glass at the brewery. Beautiful dark brown chocolate color. nice dark tan head. Smells pretty delicious, toffee and caramel flavors and like a warm fire in a cabin up north. The first few sips were kind of weird but then the flavors came into focus and it was a very solid tasting Milk Stout- chocolaty and coffee notes, smooth finish. Mouthfeel is great! A little astringent at first but the aftertaste is yummy. Great milk stout, would recommend.
