It is black in color and very tough to drink a lot of. The gin and oak showed a lot. Almost too much. Well, probably too much. Lots of chocolate and roast. Ends with a lot of gin flavors and pine needles.
The beer was better as it warmed because it rounded out a fair amount. The gin flavors became kind of enjoyable if you are into that kind of thing. However, it was still tough to drink.
