When drinking local, beers are better. I live in Carton's home town, Atlantic Highlands, and nearby Belford (both shore towns originate a fast ferry to NYC) hosts this 5 year old (today!) brewer. If their core pale ale is indicator, good things to come in this fresh flight. 30 beers on offer. I'll come back for more.

This tiny brewery is located in two adjoining store fronts downtown. It's popular with locals, particularly on weekends. They serve most of their beers on draught, fill growlers, and sell cans and bottles. Some of the beer is quite good and some is head scratching. But this is what small town craft brewing is all about. While you cannot compare this place to nearby Carton, it has a charm all its own.

I could walk here from my house but I wish they had better beer. I will give the place credit, they have expanded their space and are playing to the local vibe. Straight forward beers here, nothing truly unique.

Nice little local brewer, focusing more on lower ABV and traditional styles than IPA/BBA Stout/Sour.

Nice new and clean, decent beers, no food. No sitting room, cheap samples.
