Rich dunkelweisse brew, not heavy but with a pleasing and very marked sweet caramel and toffee character.
Presentation: 0,5 l gasket top bottle. Simple label design to the point of being lazy and careless, light blue color with brew name and branding notes. Notes manufacturing according to the Reinheitsgebot, main ingredients, and best by date (19/02/10) Shows Alc. by Vol. (5,5%) Served in a tulip glass.
A - Dark amber brown pour. Generous head with good retention and a persistent cap, alongside fair to small lacing.
S - Pleasing notes of spices, coriander, over a sweet character. Soft and a bit distant but nice.
T - Spicy notes and wheat character take a backseat to support a rich and very nice sweet caramel and toffee range that closes the brew.
M - Medium to light body, with fair carbonation and a nice finish.
D - Works very well with a nice balance of complexity and richness for a relatively light brew.
Notes: Rather nice if a bit unassuming. The surprise comes with an almost unexpected rich sweet wheat range.
