On-draught at the brewery. They top this with fresh nutmeg after pouring (not making this up):
Pours hazy with chunks of spice floating atop.
Drinks estery as hell, hitting on notes of artificial lemon peel.
Possibly simultaneously the worst and most gimmicky failed attempt at a Kolsch I've ever tried. I can see my German friends from Koln shaking their heads in my mind's eye as I sip.
If a home brewer handed me this, I'd have to tell them "maybe brewing just isn't for you."
A real chore to drink, replete with obvious overcarbonation. I couldn't down a pitcher of this with friends if I tried.
I used to contend that Lone Tree Brewing is easily the worst brewery in Colorado; this sad attempt at a Kolsch is really giving me pause...
