Probably the best local beer I had during my trip to Northern Ireland. Nice mix of citrusy hops, but not overwhelming hoppy. Very soft feel and nicely balanced. I also love the 4.2% ABV.

500ml bottle from Reilly's, Lisnaskea (£2.29):
Nice stuff from Farmageddon this time round, this offering proving to be miles better than their White IPA that I really didn't enjoy at all; thankfully this one wasn't quite as off-putting or unbalanced. There was a fresh & quite hoppy start to the beer as it came through with subtle bitterness & a few earthy flavours at points. There was a couple of background fruits that appeared around the middle & touches of biscuit featured heavily too. Without being an overly complex beer, there was still enough to keep me interested & I'd be tempted to try more from the brewery now given the vast improvement between this & the last from them that I tried.

Strong hops on the nose. Nothing unusual in how it looks. The citrus seemed to mask the hops at first taste but they came on strong as the bottle went down. One of the finest N Ireland beers that I have tasted.

Appearance - Light gold (almost lager like) with a frothy enough white head.
Smell - Soft floral nose with a background of hops and citrus fruits in particular some grapefruit.
Taste - Not overly hoppy tasting almost like they have placed it in deliciatley in the body to combine with the slightly more apparent citrus notes to create a light easy drinking beer.
Mouthfeel - Nice carbonation with a slightly bitter finish but at times to have a watery texture but the beer becomes fuller as the bottle went down.
Overall - Probably aimed more towards the lager market, this beer is nothing too adventurous but it’ll be one I will return to on a sunny day. Safe and easy on the palette.
