440ml can from Reilly's Off License, Lisnaskea (£2.79):
Oranger to bright copper with a foamy white head just over 1cm tall with good retention & lacing on the sides. Light pine & citrus hops, there's some floral notes soon after with caramel & biscuit malts in there too. The taste is similarly bitter with a lot of resinous pine & floral hops, citrus & a sweet malt base but the bitterness is overdone slightly. The body is quite sharp, medium & very bitter with a dry with moderate carbonation & a lingering hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

Key keg. Golden colour with a medium haze. Frothy.
A rather overwhelming citrus hop aroma.
A mix of caramel and fruity hop upon tasting.
Medium body and light carbonation.
OK at best.

L: Poured a small to medium head with very little carbonation with a copper colour.
S: A medium strength nose with a medium hops and a citrus zing nose.
T: Taste of caramel and citrus with a nice taste of hops.
F: Low carbonation sadly bit a nice dry citrus aftertaste.
O: Standard IPA nothing amazing.. Wish there was something that stood out. Was looking forward to it but was let down..

I just love the level of hops in this IPA. My second from this brewery and another good one.

Appearance - almost golden copper in the glass with a fairly decent white head.
Smell - Straight on the nose you get some caramel sweetness with a malty background & some subtle hops.
Taste - Initially follows the nose. There is a sweetened caramel malted body with a slight bitter end. As the bottle went down further the mouth feels had a natural warmth which helped give it fuller flavour.
Mouthfeel - A little thin for my preference with a slight sharpness that leaves a coating, some boozy warmth but noting to strong.
Overall - Quite a smooth beer but not particularly exciting though it is far from the worst beer in the style I have come across, light body and not enough hops flavour for personal preference. But a good intro beer for many
