The beer pours a beautiful clear amber color is a foamy beige head that sticks around. Truly striking. On the nose, the hoppiness is evident with piney with orange citrus under tones. The pine notes aren't very resiny; they are more gentle. This is all on a base of sweetness with a hint of caramel from the malt. The taste is dominated by the amber malt and gives way to the pine and citrus. There is some bitterness on the aftertaste, but not as much as you would expect coming from an IPA. The feel is somewhat loose with lackluster carbonation. The body is somewhat hard. Overall, It is a good session IPA and red IPA.
