Just enough honey, a bit more than some, but overall just delicious and a great, refreshing ale. Bagby is a great place too, love that you have cans that you can take home. Wish I could get it in Las Vegas.

this is fantastic stuff. its hard to make a honey beer that stays light, and one that has natural honey flavor this prominent yet also isnt sweet, and i think the real success of this one is its bright honey character and simultaneous dryness, really pretty awesome. this is delicate overall, just a light blonde ale as a base, not overly cleaned up in the sense that its still a little bit rustic, but simple for sure. i am actually surprised to see its as strong as it is, sure drinks a lot lighter. the honey is fresh and floral, polleny and waxy and sort of raw, from the bees, and its a touch sweet for a second but has a ton of nuance in there, green tea, clover, citrus, fresh flowers and grass, its good for the soul. the cool thing is that is pairs up well with the crackery pale malt, and they dry out together in the finish, which is so snappy it almost feels like a lager. i really dig the flavor of this, its nice in the morning, nice at the beach, and one of the better beers we had here at bagby, which is definitely a must visit when you are in the area. great honey beer right here!
