A: The beer is clear dark red in color and has a light amount of carbonation. It poured with just a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass. The head eventually completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pale malts and a touch of sweetness are present in the nose along with notes of floral and herbal hops.
T: The taste has balanced flavors of floral and herbal hops with pale and toasted malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer has a good balanced between the hops and malts.
Serving type: crowler

On tap at the brewery, Oceanside, CA.
Bright pale amber. 3.75
Thick honey nose. 3.75
Malt sweetness, crunchy leaf, and orange squash finish. 3.75
Fizzy, light-medium, slight cling. 3.75
Not as crisp as it should be, nor as deep. Too sweet, too. Bitter in the end, but just doesn’t get there for what’s great about altbier. 3.75
