Poured a copper-tinted auburn with good head and old-fashioned lace sheath. Oily, earthy, dank hop aroma with some bitter citric. Crisp, medium body with citric bitterness and dryness with some sweet grapefruit and floral dirtiness underneath for dry finish.

On tap at the brewery, Oceanside, CA.
Deep orange with a linen collar. 3.75
Big Sunkist orange nose with some dank. 4.25
Dank, oily orange with some peach and pine. 4
Dirty end and scratchy linger.
Medium, oily, round. 4
A bit of fruit, round body - plenty going on here. Maybe nothing new, but well done, especially at “just” 7.4%. Gives me no insight, however, in why there is such fuss about this brewery. 4

Lightly hazy medium golden copper body, light white head. Aroma is tropical - sweet mango and pineapple, with some underlying pine. Body is medium full, but quite bitter. Good flavor and aroma, but quite a bit of bitterness!
