Pure black even in a small glass. It's hard to tell if there would be a head.
Booze, raisins, dark roast malt, black strap rum
Black strap molasses, vanilla, bourbon, sweet dark roast coffee, all culminating in some towering booze. There's medium bitterness that mixes with chocolate for a thick, rich, milky finish.
Syrupy with ample carbonation.
This is a very good, very booze barrel aged stout. The vanilla, raisin, run, and bourbon flavors are strong with this one.

On tap at Strangeloves in Philadelphia, pours heady and oily with a brown head- the sign of good things to come.
The smell is intense with barrel, booze and cellar. And so follows the taste. So woodsy and deep, all the roastiness and feels, chocolate and burnt sugar and what not.
Drinks easy as well for a 14%! I am in love.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, red session. Aroma is bourbon forward with nice fudge and toffee. Taste has spicy whiskey, roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate and a roasted malt finish.
