this is exactly wheat it claims to be, a perfect morning beer, hefeweizen style brewed with blood oranges, dry and low alcohol and refreshing and drinkable forever. the purity and simplicity this seems to have is next level, fresh white wheat, a very natural citrus complexion, a cool classic german ale yeast that has imparted a light banana ester to this without being overbearing, it comes together incredibly well, and on their rooftop patio there under the california sun, its pretty tough to beat! the fresh and natural orange is a nice edition, a little rindy bitterness to it helps the beer finish and it makes this very summery overall. the wheat is dry but has a mellow cereal flavor and some nice round fluffy even expansive body, cool for how low alcohol it is, it still has the texture of a hefe. great carbonation, this really sparkles like champagne and stays refreshing. the fruit isnt overdone and the flavors here are just excellent. this is wonderful outdoor and beach beer, really put me in a relaxed and summery state of mind!

A: Moderate spice cloves and bready wheat.

A: Golden color, hazy, with a small thin white head that quickly forms a ring around the glass.

T: Moderately strong clove with bready wheat, slightly sweet, light spice with a citrusy light tartness and dry finish.

M: Medium-light bodied, moderate carbonation, and a soft mouth-feel.

O: Alright; the clove aroma and flavor was a little too pronounced, but the addition of oranges gave the beer an interesting twist and great drinkability.
