I'd say it was a tad above aveage on smell and taste. When poured, it was a hazy cream color with very little foam. The smell of yeast was evident. The taste of yeast and wheat was pleasant, mild and sort of tasty. A pleasant surprise. Would like to try it again to check for consistancy in taste.

Picked up a 12oz bottle at Grocery Outlet with the spare change in my pocket. Pours a very hazy opaque gold.

Smells a little yeasty, with a mild hop scent.

Tastes a little too grainy to be truly enjoyable. There's just a dab of
sweetness at the end.

It sits a little heavy in the mouth. Too thick to really be a hefe, but that might have been forgiven if I was actually able to pick up any wheat flavors. There are way too many good hefes out there to chose from to visit this one again anytime soon.

Appearance?..well the beer looks nice, that is it has the signature hazy orange colour with a good looking pure white head on it.
The aroma is very subdued with only the slightest hint of the wheat and esters we expect from a hefe.
Again the taste is not unpleasant , but more like a thickjer lager than a hefe to me.
Average mouthfeel.
Its drinkable in this damned heat..but its no hefe! Its even a bad American wheat, it says on the bottle label "unfiltered lager"..and that is what I think it is a lager ..as a lager it wouldnt be bad..but a hefe..its poor.

Appearance – Hazy yellow in color with an orange tint and a decent head.

Smell – The American grain has a very slight hint of yeast, but not much. There’s no sweetness to this one, but I can pick up a smallish hop note or two.

Taste – The grain here is very soft and, with a lot of effort, you can find a tidbit of yeast flavor. The finish is minute fruity sweetness that’s so small it’s hard to identify.

Mouthfeel – There’s very little carbonation to this Hefe Weizen attempt, and the body is actually medium or so.

Drinkability – This wasn’t a bad beer, but it sure as hell wasn’t a Hefe Weizen.

Wheat gold color, slightly cloudy. Medium white very foamy head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and sweet. A medium bodied, flavorful hefe, some hoppyness in nose, some in taste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is smooth, some hop bitterness.
