Copperish color, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied bock. A Richly malted, mildly hopped beer. There is some sweetness (honey like) to this beer. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp; Aftertaste is malty, not bitter

The beer pours a nebulous amber color with a frothy head that is modest in size and the remains make some adequate lace. Dominated by malt, honey sweet, lightly toasted grains, and quite fresh with the start malt and lightly sweet, the top skimpy and the finish biting in its acidity, and the hops apropos for this style. The aftertaste dry and a drinkable beer, but a bit on the weak side for a bock as I expect a bit more robustness, and not what it once was.

Average. Yeah, that about sums it up. Head disappears quickly and leaves no lace. Light sweet malt nose. Thin body. I like my bock to coat my mouth a bit. This one doesn't. Doesn't seem well lagered either. This beer won't offend you in any way, but it won't get your toes tapping either.

Dark amber hue w/ a decent head. Sparse lace is left. Honey - like malt notes hit the nose at first, and caramel malt sweetness follows. Lightly nutty in flavor, a bit sweet, but fairly one dimensional overall. Hop bitterness is a touch too high for a bock, yet sugary sweetness manages to assert itself in the finish. The body is thin for a bock and malt complexity is lacking. Bad Goat is not a bad brew, but the firm malt backbone characteristic of a bock is missing.
