Moderate amount of white head. Medium dark orange, with a honey tint, for the appearance. Quite restrained, candied fruit, with a touch of spice, for the aroma. Mixed, tart, fermented fruit and herb flavor, that has melon note, for the taste.

Poured from a growler into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a light to moderately hazy, medium golden amber with a quarter finger white head that dissipates to a thin cap with light lacing. Aroma of candi malt, cloves, coriander and over ripe fruit. Flavor is pale malt, cloves, mild lemon citrus, mild mixed ripe stone fruit. Clove and mild citrus in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Described as a session Belgian ale, and that's a pretty good description. The profile is like a mild tripel with some pale ale character, but low key and drinkable. I'm not much of a session ale drinker, but this light Belgian style ale fits the bill, light and easy drinking. Taste is better than the aroma that had some odd fruit notes.
