I had this beer on tap in a schooner glass at Triple R’s taproom in Seattle.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a bit of haze and a thin layer of dark ivory foam atop.
Smell: kinda sweet with a bit of a floral fragrance. Kinda interesting and not too bad.
Taste: sweet but also a little astringent. Malt has a kinda bready caramel character, though the astringency could be dialed back a hair.
Mouthfeel: good body and carbonation. Creaminess is actually really good!
Overall: maybe not the greatest Scottish ale out there, but completely serviceable!
