Tan head. Black color. Compared to their macaroon pastry stout, this was kind of a let down. Didn’t have near the same amount of flavor. The caramel showed a lot and I could sort of pick out the stroop waffle flavor, but just a bit weak all around. Still, fun to try and fairly solid.

Stroopwafel Pastry Stout. Pours a deep dark cola brown with a thin mocha head. Aroma is dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Flavor follows the nose, sweet but not cloying. Feel is a bit on the thin side for a stout. Overall a rich desert beer.
