Crisp, Clean, Refreshing. A beer crafted for the light beer drinker. A light bodied golden straw colored beer. With a mild aroma of hints of grains, malt sweetness, and a touch of hops.

At the brewery taproom. Slightly hazy gold, poured without much head. A classic English taste to this, lots of apple on the nose and tongue with a hoppy finish.

16 oz can mfgr 1/16/24 into a Becker.
L: SRM 2.5 Pours clear golden yellow with a thin eggshell white head that recedes quickly to lightly creamy skin & edge foam, light steady carbo bubbles, medium broken lacing with bands.
S: A distant malt note and a very light trace of hops. Not too expressive.
T: Bready, grassy, lightly sweet malts, corn, a whisper of fruit zest. It has a pastry dough aftertaste and is moderately pale.
F: Very lightly brisk, slightly smooth and light bodied with a thin center and a fairly drying medium-short finish.
O: I like the bready finish and the simplicity of this beer. It reminds me of Schell's Deer Brand. You could save a lot of money and buy Schell's instead. Pryes Gold Golden Ale is okay in its style.
