The 10-17 was a very nice Oktoberfest....probably my favorite offering from LynLake. The beer poured a nice golden with white head that did not leave a lace. The scent was faint biscuit and hop. The taste was malty, slightly bitter, but not sweet The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was quite nice.

L: Pours from a growler copper amber with a persistent 2” cream to tan foam cap. S: Clean fermentation aromas with bready malt, light toast, medium to medium low hops. T: Big malt flavors with some crisp bitterness and faint esters. Palate is malt driven. F: Medium body and medium carbonation. O: Is not quite as clean and smooth as a lager but the colors and flavors are right and it is a pretty easy to drink beer.
