The Koha poured a dark rich amber with thin white head that did not lace. The scent had a tangerinish almost pumpkinesk spice...typical of New Zealand and Australian hops. The taste followed the scent fairly close. It had a decent balance between the sweeter malt and hop bitterness. The mouthfeel was light in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it was ok....this might be the first dark session ipa Ive had....I prefer fuller dark beers.

"Koha is Maori for “gift,” which is exactly what this session beer is to you, our loyal fans. In continuing our trend of one-of-a-kind beers, we used New Zealand hops that provide a fruity, spicy, citrusy hop explosion. The hoppiness is backed up by double roasted caramel malts that give a slight caramel and roasty depth. ABV: 4.2%, IBU: 71, SRM: 16"
