I have had a handful of their beers and they are alright. The place has a decent vibe to it. The problem I have is with their prices. They add tax to the price on the board unlike most breweries, so a pint ends up costing $8.25 Add $1 tip and you're looking at a $9+ pint of beer at the place it's made. Things are getting out of hand with some craft breweries and I don't see myself coming back to this one anytime soon.

its weird, i have been enjoying beers from these guys for years now, and at seems like everytime i visit the twin cities, i stay at the hotel pretty much adjacent to this place, but for whatever reason, i had not yet been in until this last trip. the beers from these guys are great, ive always liked them, and at the taproom, they have a well rounded selection of taps and bottles that include something for everyone, and quite a few adventurous offerings, such as a 13% abv saison with ginger and grapefruit! the beers i had in here were solid, but i liked the multigrain brown the best by a mile. the place is cool, its like a little market building with a neat mix of vendors from food carts to artists and such, coffee, and the brewery, which sits on the corner. that gives it windows on two sides and a view to the market inside as well, cool space, small but well thought out. the service was sort of weird, he was prompt and seemed to know his stuff well enough, but also was sort of snarky, ironic, and joking to the point of being almost absurd and annoying, past friendly to the sort of awkward unprofessional range, but i give a long leash to dudes that stand behind a bar all day, so it didnt bother me, just sort of weird. i like the mellow vibe and i like the beer, and given its proximity to my usual hotel, i will assuredly be back!

Offers flights, different sized pours, and growlers to go. Nice selection including sours (the "Kirby Pucker" series). I only tried one beer but hope to come back for more on a future trip to Minneapolis.

It'ss nestled in the corner of an Art Moderne Sears building re-purposed as the Midtown Exchange. It has no restaurant but the Midtown Exchange has several to choose from the brewery will let you bring in whatever you want. The crowd is mostly blue jean and pull over sweater clad 20 - 30 year olds from the surrounding area speckled with the odd baby boomer who has wandered in from the mall looking for a beer. The beer is well priced and good. Service is minimal - you walk up to the bar, order you beer and take it back with you to your seat. They have a good selection of beers and have a few guest taps.

Here is a newer brewery....I am assuming....as the taxis were questioning us from the start about the location for this brewery. Walked in an the set up was very stale....have to go to the bar and serve yourself pretty much. The quality of beer was mediocre. The service was terrible in my opinion as relatively compared to other brewers. If you ordered a flight....there was not instruction or anything...it was basically order your beer go sit down and don't bother us until you order again. There was plenty of beers to select from by the finishes on most were all the same. Overall this brewery needs to get better....unless there is enough local support.....if asked....I'd never recommend this place there are plenty of other places in Minneapolis than this joint.

Great service in an interesting location. But... Very disappointed in the flights we tried. Seems they have a Belgian yeast and like it a LOT. All of their beers were scary similar. Won't be back.

The best thing I can say about Eastlake Craft Brewery is that they have a killer location. If they stay open it will solely be because of the location. It certainly won't be because of the beer. In fact, if they stay open it will be in spite of the beer. Infection and under attenuation run rampant at Eastlake. They have made most of the beers I've had from them undrinkable. I would highly recommend skipping Eastlake to anyone exploring the Twin Cities beer scene.

This taproom is a great addition to the international market. There was a great selection of food, but only one of them served beer.

The brewery is in the Midtown Global Market, which bustles with an interesting selection of shops and restaurants that run the cultural gamut. There is a very tasty Mexican Torta place across the hall, which will "deliver" to the brewery. The décor is an eclectic mix of sports bar with reclaimed wood and trophy room with animal busts adorning the walls.
The neighborhood can be a bit off-putting, but it's far from sketchy or unsafe. Just have your wits about you if you're walking to/from later on a Friday or Saturday night.
During both of my visits, the service was somewhere between indifferent and antisocial, but by no means rude.

Slick, modern taproom with eclectic backwoods and reclaimed elements interspersed. Highly cyclist-friendly. Located in Midtown Global Market, so bring your own food or non-alcoholic drinks in. During our visit they had 8 drafts on, a few IPAs and good mix otherwise, plus kombucha with which they make radlers. Service was okay, one of the tenders was awesome but ours was indifferent. The few beers we had were certainly above average - do recommend. Sell bottles and growler fills on-site.

Located in Midtown Global Market, located in the southeast corner. Quite a large space for seating, plenty of outside light through windows. The vibe is quite laid back and quiet. Eight different beers on tap with their DIPA being an absolute highlight. Nice variety of beers from Saison to DIPA to American Stout aged on hickory. Service was solid. An awesome aspect of this place is that you can bring in outside food and Global Market has an amazing selection of ethnic food from all around the globe. Great new addition to MN breweries.

Interesting vibe and location. Buy food from the surrounding food stations and bring into the brewpub. A couple of beers I've enjoyed quite a bit, a couple of others were closer to average. Worth trying and I will go again as I find them interesting enough to continue to explore
