A German Pilsner malt base brewed with traditional German noble hops creates a crisp and refreshing lager infused with fresh orange peels to create a balance of sweet citrus notes that any fan of the Orange and Blue will enjoy.

This one from my good friend and Phytogen Cotton Seed agronomist Russell Nuti.
Pours a clear deep straw with what I would call a rosy orange tinge as is it flows from the can into the glass. The pour produces only a finger or so of foamy, very short-lived white head that leaves minimal splotchy lace. Aroma is an orange and herbal, cracker and biscuit blend. There's something a little artificial about the orange. The pilsner yeast is very evident even though the orange and herbal strong arm the other components. There's something spicy in the background that I can't quite make out. Taste is similar but with a more robust breadiness. With that said the orange and herbal still lead the way subduing the other flavors. There's a trace of mineral in the finish and mildly bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is low-medium bodied with low-moderate carbonation and almost what I would call delicate for the style. While not watery there's not much action on the tongue. This was canned in June and it is now mid October so it's certainly not fresh so my example may be a little off. I'll try to secure a fresher example so there might be more forthcoming to the story...
