This one a gift from my good friend and Phytogen Seed Company agronomist Russell Nuti. Thanks friend! Pours a clear, deep gold/pale amber producing 3 fingers of soap bubble frothy, somewhat lasting, bone white head that leaves a thin wash of webby lace as it recedes. Aroma is a delicate, forward blend of orange, grapefruit and tropical fruit swimming in a sweet caramel background. Taste is a fruity mix of grapefruit, orange, tangerine and tropical fruits sitting on top of sweet bready dough, caramel and a faint cereal hint. Lightly sweet up front it becomes somewhat bittersweet at mid-sip and finishes out about the same then bitters slightly in the drying aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, thinly wet yet mouth filling; drying after the swallow it leaves a faint astringency on the tongue. Pleasant, refreshing and OH SO DRINKABLE!!! More like a session than something bordering on an imperial status. With a 7.5 ABV this stuff could be dangerous. Take heed!
