This one a gift from my friend and Phytogen cottonseed agronomist Russell Nuti. Thanks buddy!

Pours a hazy deep gold bordering on amber with a rosy hint producing a foamy 2 finger, white, short-lived head that leaves little lace behind as it recedes. Aroma is pie crust doughy, light caramel and floral with fruity notes of peach and melon backed by hints of tropical fruit, thin citrus and strawberry. There's a faint underlying medicinal hint. Taste heavy to fruit: stonefruit, melon, strawberry, citrus and tropical hints, so robust they almost hide the malt. New England style IPAs do not strive for bitterness and they sure nailed it with this one, the only real presence being in the aftertaste. With that said it is not well balanced even for the style. There is also a medicinal hint in the finish. Mouthfeel is on the heavy side of medium in terms of body with low-moderate carbonation. It's juicy, velvety smooth and easy to drink. The 8% ABV is completely invisible. Not even a ghost of it floating around. The can should carry a warning on it: DANGER 8% ABV. A nice and slightly different version of the style. That's saying a lot with all the clones of the early versions now lining the craft beer cases. My friend Russell says the medicinal hint is iodine or something iodine like. Not having smelled iodine since I was a child and certainly never having tasted it I can't say I remember. Whatever the medicinal hint is it is not off putting but additive.
