Feb. 2020: 330 ml bottle, as Birra Flea Federico II Golden Ale, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.9%. Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, yeast and solvent. The flavour is slightly citric, but also very yeasty. Metallic bitterness in the finish.

I’m currently looking at Mount Baldy, but this beer doesn’t make Raul soar. Now, it’s not “turkey status” like Ben Franklin wanted things to be; it’s just ok. And on a day, this day, I’ll let that play.

Pours cloudy gold colour with fluffy head. Good retention and lacing. I don’t detect a whole lot in terms of fruit or hops. More yeast and malt aromas and flavour. Carbonated and not overly smooth. Bitterness elevated on the level of an IPA. It’s ok.
