Genova 24/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Doro Supermarket, Piazza di Soziglia Genova. Simple yellow label with the name of the beer in black. As “Flea Blonde” with a ABV of 5,0. Not much about being an APA.
Pours opaque unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor mingling with a weird scent of singed rubber and a bit of sour grains. Sweet pale malts and peach. Sour grains. Rubber soles.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish take on a Belgian Blonde.

Another pretty okay pale ale from Aldis. Not as fruity as the real thing but still felt quite grapefruity and citrusy first, had a bit of hop bitterness to it but not too much, was very drinkable, quite nice - especially for a 1$ Italian craft beer. All good.
